Leeds United are reportedly rivalling Premier League clubs to sign Ipswich Town defender Luke Woolfenden after an excellent 2019-20 campaign in League One – and Ipswich supporters are seemingly resigned to losing the young star already.
Website TWTD have claimed in an exclusive that Premier League side Crystal Palace and Championship leaders Leeds are the latest two clubs to monitor Woolfenden – who signed a contract until the summer of 2022 back in February 2019.
Sheffield United are also said to be keeping tabs on Woolfenden, as are Championship side Queens Park Rangers. It comes after an excellent breakthrough season in which Woolfenden has clocked up 36 senior appearances at centre-back.

Woolfenden, who had only played five times for Ipswich before going on loan to Swindon last season, returned to Portman Road in the summer and was instantly considered first choice by manager Paul Lambert.
His impressive form at the back has seen a number of English clubs become interested in nabbing him, despite Woolfenden playing less than a 100 senior matches – despite loans at Swindon and Bromley.
Ipswich supporters reacted to the reported news that Leeds among other clubs were interested in signing their young defender, and many are accepting defeat in the battle to keep Wolfenden at Portman Road. One fan quoted “£10million”.
