Switzerland under-21 boss Mauro Lustrinelli has told the Glasgow Times that Cedric Itten will be a Rangers hit and suggested he could take the Premiership by storm.
The Swiss striker arrived at Ibrox in the summer for £3 million from St Gallen and has already found the net twice.
Itten was signed as a relatively unknown quantity but Lustrinelli doesn’t think it’ll be long before he makes his mark on Rangers.

He told the Glasgow Times: “Itten is a player with incredible physical strength and a great mentality.
“He proved to have a great mentality and personality. He worked a lot and never gave up.
“Cedric is very quiet and intelligent but on the pitch, he changes completely; he fights for every ball, giving everything for the team.
“I think he can adapt quite good to the Scottish Premiership despite his young age. He has exactly the characteristics that allow him to do so. He’s a worker, he shows passion and still wants to improve.”
Itten got his big move to Rangers having fired 20 goals and claimed seven assists from his 36 appearances last season.
He complements a striking department that included Alfredo Morelos, Jermain Defoe and Kemar Roofe nicely.

Gerrard saw the very best of Itten last month during a 5-1 win over Motherwell when he stepped off the bench and scored twice in the rout.
He looks like being a big player for the Gers in the future and he already looks like a player with the attributes to shine.
Rangers face Celtic this weekend and if Itten gets the chance to shine he’s more than capable of etching his name into Gers folklore.
