Newcastle United fans have praised Everton for seemingly moving for Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend, as Rafael Benitez gets to work.
Double deal
The Telegraph say that Everton are on the verge of clinching a deal to sign both Gray and Townsend this summer.
Townsend actually worked with new Everton boss Rafael Benitez at Newcastle.
Gray was also linked with a move to St. James’ Park when Benitez was in charge in the North East.
And Newcastle fans believe that Gray, in particular, could work out to be a bargain buy.
Bargain buy?
The problem for Gray is that he has always been spoken about as a player with a high level of potential, but he is yet to really show it consistently on the pitch.
The winger has produced in flashes, but if he is to make a success of his time at Everton then he will have to prove he can make an impact far more regularly.
If he does fulfil his potential then there is no doubting that Everton could be signing him for a bargain fee, though.
Townsend, meanwhile, looks to be a solid signing rather than a spectacular one.
The experienced winger will give Everton further options going forward, and Benitez got the very best out of him during their last spell working together on Tyneside.
