La Liga outfit Real Betis are have watched Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos with designs on a summer transfer, according to Spanish outlet Rincon Escoces, via Football Scotland.
They report that Betis are worried about being short on strikers at the end of the season when the loan deal for Paris Saint-Germain outcast Jese expires and view Morelos as the man who can help them out.
Betis have apparently scouted Morelos three times and it continues their trend of looking towards British football for replacement strikers.
In the January window, they were linked (Sky Sports) with a swoop for West Ham man Lucas Perez as well as (Daily Mail) Tottenham outcast Vincent Janssen.

Janssen has not played a game for Tottenham in so long and getting his wages off the budget would be helpful with a move to a new stadium on the horizon as well as the need for new blood coming in growing ever more pressing.
But Morelos is a superior option and if Betis can land him, there’s no reason why they would be compelled to take Janssen off Tottenham’s hands.
That’s why Morelos going to Spain would be bad news for both Rangers and Tottenham. Morelos would be very tricky to replace but Rangers should get decent money for him if he does eventually leave.
