Eric Dier looks like he could be on his way to Bayern Munich.
Somehow, despite not being able to get a game at Tottenham this season, Dier could be about to join one of the biggest and most prestigious clubs in Europe.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Dier has agreed to this move, and Thomas Tuchel is apparently very excited about the idea of signing the £4m man.
Indeed, according to Romano, Tuchel has already spoken to Dier about where he will fit into his squad, and the German apparently believes that the England international could make an instant impact at Bayern Munich.

Tuchel thinks Dier could make an instant impact
Romano shared what he knows about the defender.
“Bayern have an agreement with Eric Dier over the contract. Thomas Tuchel has spoken with Dier about different things, about the opportunity to join Bayern, but also about the tactical model. He believes that Dier can obviously play as a centre-back but also in the midfield, he believes he can make an instant impact at Bayern,” Romano said.
Don’t count on it
While it’s great to hear that Tuchel is so excited about working with Dier, we’d advise him to not count on this deal too much.
With all due respect, Dier has been out of form for around 18 months now, and it’s hard to imagine that he can join one of the best teams in Europe and transform their fortunes.
In all honesty, we can’t imagine Dier even getting much of a game in Munich, he won’t start above the likes of Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs De Ligt at centre-half, while Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich seem to have those midfield spots held down.
Tuchel seems to rate Dier highly, but the idea that he can go in at Bayern Munich and make an instant impact seems a bit farfetched to us.
