Martin Keown has waxed lyrical about Everton ace Demarai Gray following his display in Saturday’s Premier League draw at Leeds.
The Toffees signed the 25-year-old in July and he’s delivered two great Premier League displays for Rafa Benitez’s side.
Gray shone in Everton’s 3-1 opening-day win over Southampton and once again impressed as the Blues played at Elland Road.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man looked a threat every time he picked up the ball against the Whites.
Gray scored the second Everton goal against Leeds on 50 minutes, sliding a low shot across goal to open his Blues account.
“Demarai Gray has got no right to score there,” Keown said on BBC Sport (4:17pm).
“He puts it through the defender’s legs and spins on to his unfavoured left foot and really that’s inspirational.
“He has been inspirational since he’s been there, last week he was whipping crosses in.
“He’s just thought I’ll have a go here and unbelievably it’s squeezed in.

“Against the run of play I should mention as well – give him some freedom and it shows what he can do!”
Dominic Calvert-Lewin had opened the scoring with a 30th-minute penalty but Mateusz Klich had equalised on 41 minutes.
And after Gray’s goal, Raphinha then struck in the 72nd minute for a share of the spoils.
At full time, Keown once again singled the Everton newcomer out for praise.
“Demarai Gray, what a signing he has become for Everton,” he said (5:21pm).
“Fingers crossed he can go on and score more for Everton, who are looking really good this season.”
