'Insanely underrated': Some Arsenal fans pray club to make 'massive' move for Euro 2020 finalist

Arsenal retain an interest in Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier with the Gunners tempted to attempt a swap-deal for the England international.

According to Football London, there is a ‘genuine prospect’ that the north London side will offer Hector Bellerin in exchange for Trippier. The former Tottenham fullback is reportedly open to leaving Spain this window.

Moreover, Arsenal are keen to strengthen at right-back, with Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles both allowed to depart the club this summer. The window shuts in two days.

However, with right-back proving to be a problem area for the Gunners, an experienced head and recent title-winner would be an encouraging addition for Arteta.

Trippier also played a role in England making it to the final of Euro 2020. The fullback played in five of the seven games the Three Lions competed in, playing close to 300 minutes.

Despite his age and links to Tottenham, plenty of Arsenal fans are open to Trippier joining the club this window. With Bellerin going in the other direction to Spain.

Trippier earns a reported £73,000-a-week at Atletico, less than the £100,000-a-week Bellerin earns at Arsenal.
