‘Insanely good’: Liverpool fans delighted with Kostas Tsimikas performance at Chelsea

Liverpool and Chelsea played out an enthralling encounter at Stamford Bridge this afternoon as a frantic first half saw four goals scored and Sadio Mane escape with a yellow card in the opening ten seconds.

Both sides were right at it from the off. And while the level faded somewhat in the second half, both Chelsea and Liverpool deserve credit for another great advert for Premier League football.

On the day, there were some fine individual performances in both red and blue. For Chelsea, the likes of Christian Pulisic and Mateo Kovacic caught the eye for their stunning goals. While for Liverpool, Mo Salah scored another worldie to kick 2022 off as he ended 2021.

But over on social media, Liverpool fans were delighted with the performance of Greek left-back, Kostas Tsimikas.

Tsimikas is taking his chance with Andy Robertson out and proving more than capable. He has bided his time at Anfield but now looks very much the accomplished Premier League player. And on Twitter, Reds fans were quick to praise the full-back.
