Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos is nearing a return to action.
The Spanish midfielder has been sidelined with a hamstring injury he picked up last month against Vitoria in the Europa League.

The issue has caused him to miss seven games in all competitions so far, but it would appear he won’t be out for very much longer.
Taking to Instagram, Ceballos – on a season-long loan from Real Madrid – revealed he is targeting a return on Boxing Day, when Arsenal face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
From the pictures he uploaded, Ceballos has seemingly now resumed training, or at least, basic ball-work.
Before his injury, Ceballos had featured in every single game under Unai Emery.
TBR’s view – Ceballos return a boost
His return will serve as a boost for the Gunners, who have been lacking creativity in midfield in recent weeks.

The likes of Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira are all more defensively minded, and can’t carry the ball through the lines as well as Ceballos.
It remains to be seen if Ceballos will be trusted to the same degree by Freddie Ljungberg – the interim manager has not spoken publicly about the 24-year-old since he’s been out of the picture.
