There are few Premier League clubs who can argue to have had a better transfer window than Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s side have brought in a number of brilliant young players.
Jesus arrived from Manchester City in the summer for £45m.
He was given the number nine shirt, and has finally been given the opportunity to play consistently in the Premier League as a centre-forward.
The 25-year-old has already repaid the faith shown in him to fill that role, and has been sensational for Arsenal.

He’s already scored five league goals, and laid on a handful of assists for his teammates.
Jesus has also formed a brilliant partnership with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
And Martinelli has already said how much he loves playing with his attacking counterparts.
Pearce has now said on TalkSPORT that Jesus was an absolute bargain for Arsenal.
In fact, he compared his departure from Man City as similar to Sadio Mane leaving Liverpool if Erling Haaland hadn’t been brought in.
Jesus was a bargain for Arsenal
Pearce was singing Jesus’ praises this morning, saying: “The big piece of business which has probably catapulted them to being top of the tree at the moment from maybe third or fourth is (Gabriel) Jesus.
“He’s given them energy, he’s given them goals, he’s given them everything up front.
“He’s given them a focal point up there, and there’s a lot of talk and hot air about Mane leaving Liverpool and the effect that’s had.
“There would be the same conversations about Jesus potentially if it wasn’t for Haaland.
“The only team to be above Manchester City at this moment in time is Arsenal, and the only reason they’re there is because Manchester City have sold them Jesus at a really good price for his age.
“I thought that bit of business, £45m for a 25-year-old is incredible.”

Edu’s Brazilian connections were vital in securing Jesus’ signature.
“I worked with Gabriel as well from the national team.” Edu said.
“I know him, I know his family, I know everyone and that’s why I decided to go there to talk to the family.”
It’s proved to be a masterstroke from Edu as Jesus has been the perfect replacement for Alexandre Lacazette.
Jesus perfectly fits into Arteta’s system, given his work-rate, link-up play and flair.
Mikel Arteta has previous said that Jesus ‘gives absolutely everything’ for the team, and that effort could just propel Arsenal back into the Champions League.
If Arsenal do return to Europe’s premier competition this season, Jesus will be considered an absolute bargain.
