Arsenal have a number of players they need to sell this summer as they look to trim the fat on their squad and balance the books.
Indeed, after 18 months’ worth of huge spending, Arsenal now need to recoup some cash, and, luckily, they have a number of players in their squad who are very saleable assets.
Eddie Nketiah has been strongly linked with a move away from Arsenal.
The striker is said to be a target for Marseille, and according to Dean Jones, speaking on the Ranks FC Podcast, the England international is starting to get excited about the idea of signing for Marseille.

Eddie Nketiah is starting to get excited about joining Marseille
Kay shared what he knows about the ‘incredible’ striker.
“Nketiah is now being lined up as a potential signing to go over there too. He’s known about this for a couple of weeks and as I’m told he’s getting excited about the idea of going over there.
“There has been some Premier League interest, Fulham, West Ham, Crystal Palace, but nobody has made that formal, and that’s probably due to the valuation from Arsenal.”
Marseille are an exciting club
Marseille are quietly becoming a rather exciting team to sign for.
Roberto De Zerbi remains one of the most exciting coaches in all of Europe, while the Ligue 1 club have already made some solid signings such as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Nketiah will have seen just how much his former teammates have thrived in Ligue 1 with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Folarin Balogun all thriving over in France after making the switch to Arsenal.
Nketiah could follow the same trajectory, and if he does manage to become a regular for Marseille next season, don’t be shocked if he bangs in the goals and inserts himself back into the England squad conversation.
