Tottenham fans were loving it yesterday as the club released images on its social media channels to confirm that defender Japhet Tanganga is in full training again.

The young defender has been missing through injury but appears to be in the frame to play today’s Europa League clash with Ludogrets.

Tangana, 21, shot to prominence at the back end of last season with Tottenham with Jose Mourinho impressed with the youngster’s attitude and application to his football.

And his return is a timely one, too, with defenders such as Serge Aurier and Sergio Reguilon both out of the clash in Europe. Tanganga, then, could get his chance to return to the squad.
