Micah Richards has lavished praise on Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus, but also thinks he needs to be more clinical.
Speaking on the BBC’s Monday Night Club, Richards spoke about Jesus’ time at Manchester City, where he sometimes missed chances.
That has not been a problem for Arsenal so far, as they have soared to the top of the Premier League and outclassed Chelsea on Sunday.

Richards on Jesus
“I’ve backed Arsenal from early in the season,” said Richards.
“I thought they were excellent against Chelsea, dominated the game. But Jesus at Man City – he did an incredible job for the team, playing on the left or right but at times he would miss chances.
“The chances that Haaland is finishing, sometimes Jesus wouldn’t put them away. He’s not scored in a while for Arsenal.
“His overall game and the way Arsenal want to play is perfect. He’s got a couple of assists against last week, so I have no problem.
“But I just think they are going to need him to be more clinical if they are going to push right until the end.
“That’s the only question mark I have. Just that clinical edge in those games you need to win 1-0.”
Could Arsenal do with more goals from Jesus? Ideally, yes, but as long as other players are scoring goals and they are winning games then it is no problem.
The Brazilian 25-year-old does so much good work for the team and that has elevated Mikel Arteta’s side to new heights this season.
Jesus could also be a World Cup winner by the end of the year and imagine the boost he would get coming back to Arsenal on the back of winning the biggest prize in world football.
