Tottenham Hotspur loanee Oliver Skipp has made third place in Norwich’s Player of the Season vote, which led some Canaries fans to poke fun at Spurs supporters.

The 20-year-old midfielder is one of the brightest players to come through the Tottenham academy in recent years, and has been sensational on loan this season.

Skipp has made 44 Championship appearances for the Canaries, helping them secure promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Spurs fans have been monitoring the England Under-21 international’s progress very closely this term, given just how much potential he has to become a star.

Indeed, over the course of the season, many have often voted for him to win individual Man of the Match awards, which even caught Daniel Farke’s attention.

The Norwich boss joked earlier this year: “The reason why Oliver wins the Man Of The Match award every week is because Tottenham fans always vote for him!”

However, Tottenham fans weren’t made aware of Norwich’s POTS award, which saw Skipp get the proverbial bronze behind Grant Hanley and Emiliano Buendia.
