Aston Villa are reportedly closing in on the signing of Alex Moreno from Real Betis.
On Monday, multiple media outlets including Sky Sports claimed the Villans had agreed a deal for the 29-year-old.
Sky Sports claimed Villa had agreed a fee worth a reported £12.5million for Moreno.

In addition, they claimed the Spaniard was due to fly to England for a medical on Wednesday.
Fabrizio Romano has now provided an update on the Moreno to Villa state of play.
Writing on CaughtOffside on Tuesday, he claimed the documents of the deal were currently being checked.
And in the next few hours, the agreement will be signed, added Romano.
‘Aston Villa are now closing in on Alex Moreno deal,’ he wrote.
‘Agreement around €14m fee, expected to be signed in the next hours, documents being checked.
‘Personal terms agreed with hope to get the medical tests done within this week. Here we go soon!’
Moreno had not travelled with rest of the Betis squad to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup.
Much-needed
Villa look set to make their first signing of the January transfer window with Moreno’s arrival.
Unai Emery has been looking for reinforcements at left-back.
And with Ludwig Augustinsson picking up an ankle injury on Sunday, Moreno’s arrival is even more highly anticipated.

The Spaniard ticks a lot of boxes for Villa. At 29, he has plenty of experience to hit the ground running at Villa Park.
He is a versatile player, capable of featuring either as a left-back, left winger, or right winger.
Moreno has predominantly played at the left of a back four with Betis, which is what Villa need most.
All in all, Moreno looks like an exciting and much-needed signing for the claret-and-blue side.
