Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has hinted that Bukayo Saka could start on Sunday against Chelsea, in a press conference as covered by the club’s official website.
Could Saka start?
Saka was only fit enough to feature off the bench for Arsenal on opening day against Brentford and they miss his attacking energy.
The youngster has been training at London Colney all week though.
And when asked whether Saka will feature, Arteta hinted that the England international’s chances of starting had increased from last week.
“Let’s see how he is in the next few days. He felt good after the match the other day but he’s in a better place.,” he said.
Huge boost
Saka’s return to Arsenal’s team should be a major boost for Arteta’s side.
The 19-year-old has quickly become one of the side’s most important players and a constant threat.

With Chelsea likely to have the lion’s share of possession on Sunday, Arsenal may need Saka’s pace to threaten on the counter attack.
Arsenal head into the game as heavy underdogs against Thomas Tuchel’s side.
However, if they are able to pick up the three points then the mood around the Emirates Stadium could change significantly.
