Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has waxed lyrical about Spurs teammate Joe Rodon, saying he’s been improving a lot.
Rodon joined Tottenham from Swansea at the end of the domestic summer transfer window in mid-October, in a deal reported to be £11million plus add-ons.
The 23-year-old is having to bide his time for first-team minutes.

As he’s not in Spurs’ Europa League squad, that’s a lot of potential game time had to miss out on.
Rodon has made nine appearances for Tottenham, including four Premier League starts.
However, hasn’t made a league appearance since January, when he played 90 minutes against Brighton.
Despite Rodon’s lack of opportunities so far, Bale says he’s spotted a lot of progression in his compatriot’s game.
“I’ve already seen a difference,” the Wales veteran said on Tottenham’s Twitch channel. “He’s improving a lot.”
TBR View:
While Rodon hasn’t had many opportunities so far under Jose Mourinho, Bale’s comments are great to hear.
Mourinho has high standards and isn’t afraid to leave players out, but also he gets the best out of his players.
Tanguy Ndombele, Dele Alli and obviously Bale himself have all had to bide their time but are now in superb form.
