Liverpool fans were loving it last night as their depleted side came out on top in comfortable fashion against Leicester, with James Milner among those to impress.

The experienced Reds star was thrust in to the back four and once again showed his versatility and quality with an assured performance to help nullify the attacking threat of the Foxes.

Milner has become something of a cult hero and club legend at Anfield and has been instrumental in helping the Reds to success in the Champions League and Premier League.

Reds fans, then, were loving what they saw from Milner and plenty of them took time out on Twitter to sing the praises of the former Leeds and Aston Villa man.
