Manchester City fans have been having their say on social media over the last 24 hours, as reports linked them with a move for Robert Lewandowski.

ESPN report that both Chelsea and City are looking into the possibilty of signing Lewandowski this summer. It is thought Bayern will look for at least £55m for the Polish star, who is widely regarded as one of the best in world football.

City are letting Sergio Aguero leave this summer and need a replacement. And while the 32-year-old Lewandowski might be at the higher end of the ace spectrum, he hasn’t had the injury troubles Aguero has.

And that was one of the points some City fans were discussing on Twitter. There was plenty of support for City moving for Lewandowski, although some did question the logic of replacing experience with experience.
