Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are just four of the clubs reportedly eyeing West Ham United’s Declan Rice.
On Monday, The Guardian reported that the Gunners will look to swoop for the England international in the summer.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports News chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed (17/1/23, 17:49) that Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils and Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are in pursuit alongside Arsenal and Chelsea.

Arsenal are optimistic about beating the likes of Chelsea to Rice’s signature, added the report in The Guardian.
In addition, the 24-year-old is said to be open to a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.
Rice is one of England’s top midfielders, and has been a regular on the rumour mill for a number of years now.
However, his contract situation appears to have alerted clubs, who have once again started circling.
Rice will effectively have two years left on his contract as of this summer.
His current deal runs until 2024, but West Ham have an option of another year.
As per Sky Sports, “three times he has declined an offer to sign a new contract with West Ham.”
‘He’s appreciated by many clubs’
On Tuesday, Fabrizio Romano gave his verdict on the Rice transfer situation, amid links with the likes of Arsenal.
The transfer insider, writing on CaughtOffside, claimed that January is a no-go regarding the midfielder’s transfer.
However, Romano did confirm that Arsenal have discussed Rice internally, and Chelsea also appreciate him.
“I’m told that nothing will be decided now for Declan Rice,” said Romano.
“Also because the player is not leaving in January as things stand.
“But for sure Arsenal have an interest, as has been reported, and they discussed Declan internally.
“He’s appreciated by many clubs including Chelsea.
“But again, it will take time to see where Declan will go; no discussions have taken place on the player’s side yet.”

Tough job on Arsenal’s hands – TBR View
Rice would be an outstanding acquisition by Arsenal. He’s one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and has plenty of years ahead of him.
Admittedly, he won’t come cheap. Solhekol has predicted him to cost between £80million and £100million.
For what you’re getting, though, that’s a fair enough price. Rice is proven in the Premier League and at international tournaments, and is also a leader.
Arsenal will likely also have strong competition from the likes of Chelsea and other elite clubs. So it won’t be easy, but the reward would be worth it.
