Arsenal have been told they’re going to have to pay more to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk than if they bought him in the summer.
That’s according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, speaking to Caught Offside about the Ukrainian.
Romano believes that Shakhtar Donetsk wanted £43m (€50m) for the 21-year-old in the summer.
However, because of his performances this season, and the increased interest in the winger, that price tag could rise to £56m (€65m) next year.

Arsenal were very interested in signing Mudryk at the end of the summer transfer window.
They were reportedly in talks about signing Mudryk just before the window shut, but a move never materialised.
Mudryk has since gone on to have a fantastic start to his Champions League campaign with Shakhtar.
His two goals and two assists in four appearances have given the Ukrainian side a great chance of progressing to the knockout stages.
He’s also averaging an assist per game in the Ukrainian Premier League.
Arsenal will need to pay more for Mudryk
Speaking to Caught Offside about Mudryk, Romano said: “He’s a player whose value has most likely shot up since the summer.
“Shakhtar Donetsk wanted around €50m for him in August, probably €40m plus add-ons were enough.
“Today, I’m sure they want way more than €50m for their star, it could probably be as high as €60-65m.”
The ‘incredible’ winger would be a fantastic addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Arteta has found the perfect balance in attack this season, with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli causing havoc on the wings.

Mudryk would provide important competition for Martinelli on the left, and is a similar player.
Both wide men are direct and enjoy beating a defender one-on-one.
However, Mudryk is a fantastic passer, and would link up well with Gabriel Jesus.
Arsenal are likely going to have to pay more to sign Mudryk going forward.
He could be the next piece of the puzzle that Arteta needs to improve his young Arsenal side.
