A number of Leeds United fans have given their thoughts on Whites captain Liam Cooper being named in the Scotland squad for three games in October.
The 29-year-old, who has featured in two of Leeds’ three Premier League games so far this season, is in line to add to his three caps in a busy and crucial period for the home nation.
First up for Scotland is the European Championship semi-final play-off against Israel on Thursday 8 October 2020 at Hampden Park.
Steve Clarke’s charges then turn to the Nations League as they host Slovakia on Sunday 11 October and then face the Czech Republic on Wednesday 14 october, also at Hampden Park.
Cooper was forced to miss Leeds’ opening Premier League game of the season due to a calf injury he picked up on international duty.
As a result, some of the Whites fans were nervous over their captain’s latest call-up, hoping there’ll be no repeat of the previous international break’s events:
Don’t get injured again…

Take care of him this time, I don’t want him back injured again.

Leeds will be hoping to make it three Premier League wins in a row on Saturday when Manchester City come to Elland Road in their last game before the international break.
After club football resumes, Marcelo Bielsa’s charges host Wolves on Saturday 17 October.
