Liverpool have agreed to let Harvey Elliott join Blackburn Rovers on loan for the season after Jurgen Klopp gave the thumbs up to a temporary move for the youngster.
Elliott will join Rovers in the hope of getting some first-team minutes under his belt, something that seems unlikely at Anfield given the Reds are out of the League Cup.
The former Fulham teenager is highly-thought of by Jurgen Klopp and will hope that an impressive season in the second tier can give him the platform to kick on and improve even further next term.

Liverpool have produced and made money off some young players in recent times. Rhian Brewster joined Sheffield United this window, while Harry Wilson, Ben Woodburn, and now Elliott are all set to spend time away from the club.
Reds fans, then, have been reacting to the news on Twitter and while there’s some who believe this is the right move, some believe Elliott may well fall into the trap of being another player who never quite makes it.
