Ange Postecoglou has had a rollercoaster of a first season at Tottenham.
The Australian made a massive impact when he first arrived at the club, taking Spurs to the top of the Premier League after 10 games in charge.
However, a mixture of an injury crisis and a loss of form has seen Tottenham dip down to fifth in the league, and now, their Champions League hopes look to be up in the air.
Despite Spurs’ recent shaky form, Postecoglou still has plenty of credit among the Tottenham fanbase, and according to Peter Taylor speaking on The Spurs Show people behind the scenes are still speaking highly of the manager.
Indeed, Taylor says that former Tottenham players have been telling him just how much Postecoglou has gone down well with the current squad as he’s put a huge emphasis on enjoying the football rather than just trying to get results.

Tottenham squad are loving Ange ball
Taylor shared what he knows about the manager.
“To me that’s how I’ve always coached. I’m hearing from ex-Tottenham players that I know that Ange has gone down well because he wants them to come in and have some fun as well as do it right. They are enjoying the way he wants to play and they are enjoying his company and the togetherness he brings the team. The modern day player if they still like the manager then you have a chance,” Taylor said.
So much credit
Ange Postecoglou’s tenure at Tottenham so far just goes to show how much credit you can build up with fans just by playing exciting football.
This time last year, after 26 Premier League games, Spurs were actually fourth in the table, but within two weeks, Antonio Conte was sacked. Meanwhile, it doesn’t feel as though Postecoglou is even close to that point, and that’s because of the way his team plays.
Everyone is loving the Postecoglou era at Tottenham, even if the results aren’t there to back up the excitement.
