Arsenal are reportedly interested in a move for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The Sun claim that the 23-year-old shot-stopper, who this week received a call-up to England’s Euro 2020 squad, is a target for Mikel Arteta.

Ramsdale was a part of the Blades side that finished 20th in the Premier League last season. The youngster was also a member of the AFC Bournemouth side that suffered relegation to the Championship in the 2019/20 season.

There is a suggestion that Arsenal could sign a new goalkeeper this summer. As reported by Goal, Ajax star Andre Onana is another target for the Gunners. However, other parties are now keen on the Cameroonian international.

Bernd Leno’s future with Arsenal is currently unknown. The German keeper currently has two years left on his current contract with the Gunners.

Despite Ramsdale having a solid season for the Blades even with their relegation to the Championship, some Arsenal fans on social media are fuming that the club would target the 23-year-old keeper.
