Rio Ferdinand admits he’s “baffled” by Arsenal selling Joe Willock.
The Gunners made the decision to offload the talented 21-year-old to Newcastle this summer.
Willock had come through the ranks at Arsenal and looked like he had a big future ahead of him.

Despite his young age, he had already made 78 competitive appearances for the Gunners.
However, Willock had been struggling for game time under Mikel Arteta, so he joined the Magpies on loan at the start of the year.
He was sensational for the Tyneside outfit, scoring eight times in 14 Premier League appearances.
Willock even set a new record by becoming the youngest player to score in seven consecutive games.
The seventh of those goals also equalled Alan Shearer’s mark for goals in consecutive Premier League games for Newcastle.

“Arsenal are letting goals like that leave”
Although Willock featured for Arsenal in pre-season, he has now left permanently for a reported £25million.
And Ferdinand is confused by the Gunners’ decision to sell the Hale End graduate.
“The big one for me is Willock,” he told Vibe With FIVE. “How many goals did he score last season, eight or nine goals?
“Arsenal are letting goals like that leave the squad. I don’t know. I was baffled by that one.”
