Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers faced the media ahead of his side’s clash against Arsenal and the Foxes boss revealed that he’s a huge fan of Emile Smith Rowe.
The Gunners are on a good run in all competitions. They haven’t lost a game since the end of August and Mikel Arteta’s plan seems to be coming together quite nicely.
One of Arsenal’s most important players in that run has been Smith Rowe. The 21-year-old has been exceptional and has directly been involved in five goals in all competitions so far.
Arsenal’s front four looked really solid against Aston Villa last week and Rodgers has admitted that he’s wary of that. However, it’s Smith Rowe who he’s a massive fan of.
Rodgers: I’m a huge fan of Smith Rowe
Rodgers was asked about the threat Arsenal possess as Mikel Arteta leads his lads to the King Power for the early kick-off today. The Foxes boss claims that there are four players who can cause his side a few problems.
He said, as per Leicester Mercury: “The front four can give you a big problem, especially on the counter, with Aubameyang and his movement. Lacazette links the game really well.
Smith Rowe – I’m a huge fan of his running ability, how he travels with the ball. Saka on the other side as well. They know what it means to play for Arsenal. They’ve got a lot of talented players.”

TBR View:
Arsenal’s front-four are dangerous, especially when teams afford them space. Villa and Tottenham made that mistake against the Gunners and both teams were punished for it.
Smith Rowe is the man who gets into those little pockets of space in between the lines. His acceleration and dribbling skills further help him trouble his opponents and Leicester should be wary of that.
The Foxes, however, are a dangerous team in their own right. Arsenal play a high line and all it takes is one mistake before Jamie Vardy is put through on goal. The Englishman has a phenomenal record against the Gunners as well and Rodgers will be hoping that he can step up again this afternoon.
