Illan Meslier reacts on Twitter as Leeds complete Wolves comeback

Leeds United finally got the equaliser their second-half showing deserved yesterday as Rodrigo scored a late, late penalty to seal a point for the home side.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men were pushing throughout the second period and the introduction of Joe Gelhardt had a huge effect on the game. The youngster galvanised the Leeds crowd and in the end, he was the one brought down for the crucial penalty in stoppage time.

Another good performer on the day was goalkeeper, Illan Meslier. The young Frenchman has been quietly going about his business this year, as he maintains the number one spot at Elland Road.

And following the late show yesterday, Meslier took to Twitter to deliver his instant reaction to proceedings.

Obviously, Meslier is a popular figure at Elland Road and a number of Leeds fans were straight on Twitter themselves responding to the stopper.

In the main, they were full of praise for Meslier. And some even pointed out his moment of brilliance which fooled Wolves striker, Raul Jimenez.
