'I'll lose my mind': Some Arsenal fans shocked by who Edu reportedly wants to sign now
Arsenal fans have been giving their thoughts on the report linking Sergio Ramos with the Gunners.
According to Goal.com, Arsenal have asked Ramos’ representatives to be kept in the loop regarding the defender’s future.
Ramos is currently a free agent after leaving Real Madrid at the end of the 2020-21 season.
As well as Arsenal, Manchester City have been linked with the 35-year-old.
However, Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be frontrunners for the Spaniard’s signature.
What have Arsenal fans made of the speculation?
On the whole, it looks as though few Gunners fans believe it could ever happen.
Arsenal aren’t in Europe at present and they don’t look likely to challenge for the Premier League just yet.
That said, he is a free agent, so it’s not as if there is a huge transfer fee to pay, though Arsenal would still have signing-on fees and wages to consider.
In addition, Ramos has won pretty much everything there is to win in football – who knows, he might fancy a new challenge.
Could Mikel Arteta persuade his compatriot to join the Gunners and drag the team back up by the scruff of its neck?
Stranger things have happened in the transfer market but, as much as they’d like Ramos to join, some Arsenal fans are a bit sceptical.

Exactly the kind of defender we need and I've been begging for.— Sakanell! (@Aubamezzette) July 2, 2021
Puts the fear of God in striker; unlike Luiz is still world class and was named FIFA best Defender last year.
He will also mentor Gabriel,Saliba and be a real leader in the team.

We don't have European football next season so he's very unlikely to join but if Arsenal still managed to sign Sergio Ramos, we unarguably have the strongest player pull in World Football…— The Dragon King👑 #KroenkeIn (@DragonKingAFC) July 2, 2021
