'I’ll absolutely take that': Some Aston Villa fans are buzzing over 'extremely good' announcement
Aston Villa supporters are buzzing over their opening Premier League fixtures for next season.
The club revealed on their official Twitter page their match-list for the 2021/22 campaign.
Villa will kick off the season on the road to Watford, before two back-to-back home games against Newcastle United and Premier League newcomers Brentford.
Moreover, with Jack Grealish likely to be fully fit for the start of next season and Emi Buendia having two whole months to adjust to his new club, there is a lot of excitement surrounding Villa ahead of next term.
The Midlands club were one of the most exciting teams to watch for most of last season. Indeed, Villa concluded the 19/20 campaign with a 2-1 win over Chelsea and an 11th place finish.
Villa managed some incredible results last season. Dean Smith’s side did the double over Arsenal and claimed impressive wins over the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool. The latter of which was a sensational 7-2 win which was one of the games and shocks of the campaign.
And supporters on social media have plenty to be hyped about for next season. Indeed, the release of the fixture list only added fuel to the fire.

Villa will be hoping to build from the 11th place finish last season in the Premier League.
