Iker Casillas has become the latest to express his admiration for Marcelo Bielsa, with the former Spain international reacting to the video Leeds United posted on Twitter showing the head coach naming his lineup for Friday’s game two days early.
Whites supporters became accustomed to Bielsa naming his side early during their two years in the Championship. It was actually a decision that saw the Leeds boss come in for criticism from some when his side were going through most disappointing spells of form.

Bielsa has tended to be more guarded about his plans in more recent times. But perhaps that is actually because the right question has not been asked – until now.
The Leeds boss was initially asked who would play at centre-back alongside Liam Cooper this week. He responded by stating that it will either be Luke Ayling or Kalvin Phillips.

The follow-up question asked whether he planned to keep West Ham guessing. And that prompted Bielsa to name the full XI that will start.
Of course, it remains to be seen what roles some of the players feature in. One of Ayling or Phillips is set to move for their usual position, and that will obviously have an impact on their teammates.
But Bielsa’s openness has still attracted plenty of attention. And amongst those to take note of his comments was Casillas.
