If rumours coming out of Italy are true, Djed Spence could be in line for some really good news at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spence has endured a difficult start to his Spurs career after making the switch from Middlesbrough over the summer.
The 22-year-old is yet to start a game under Antonio Conte and has been limited to just three substitute appearances in the Premier League.
But he could be handed a boost in January as Emerson Royal is reportedly attracting interest from Inter Milan.

Spence in line for good news at Tottenham
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Inter are very interested in Emerson Royal as they line-up potential replacements for Denzel Dumfries.
Chelsea are eyeing a possible move for the Dutch right-back and the Nerazzurri could turn to Royal in the event that he leaves.
With the Brazilian and Matt Doherty currently ahead of Spence in the pecking order, this could be brilliant news for the youngster.
Spence hasn’t managed to get a look in all season, despite below-par performances from both Doherty and Royal.
The wing-back did get 25 minutes under his belt against his old side Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup, but returned to the bench days later against Leeds.

Royal has often frustrated Spurs fans with his lack of end product in the final third. While Doherty has struggled to reach the heights he managed last season after returning from a knee injury.
If Inter do firm up their interest in Emerson, it could be a big boost for Spence as he may only have Doherty to compete with for the right wing-back role.
Of course, there are no guarantees that even if Emerson does leave, Conte won’t want to bring a replacement through the door.
But in the event that the Brazilian leaves without Spurs finding a replacement, Spence could find himself one step closer to the starting line-up.
The Englishman will get an opportunity to work with Conte over the next three weeks during the World Cup and will be hoping to make an impression ahead of Spurs’ return to action on Boxing Day.
