Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a fruitful transfer window, bringing in seven new players.
More recently, Spurs have worked to move on several players surplus to Antonio Conte’s requirements.
Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso have already left Tottenham, both on loan deals.
Meanwhile, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks remain, with Spurs eager to find a transfer solution for both.
Journalist Tom Barclay has expressed surprise at the apparent lack of interest in Winks and Reguilon this summer.

When asked on GiveMeSport over whether any enquiries have been made for the Spurs duo, he replied: “Not that I know of in the last two days or so.
“Harry Winks, it feels like it might go to the end of the window, but I’m surprised about the lack of interest in both of them really.”
Now, a new lead on Winks has opened up. And if it turns out to be promising, Jose Mourinho could end up doing Tottenham a big favour.
According to Goal Italia, Roma are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old midfielder.
However, it looks as though the Giallorossi have a few other players higher up on Mourinho’s wishlist.
The outlet claims Roma have approached Juventus for Denis Zakaria. They have also made enquiries for Sasa Lukic and Nahitan Nandez.
Roma view a new midfielder as a priority, especially after Georginio Wijnaldum’s injury.
It might not be a certainty. But just maybe, Mourinho could turn to Winks and take him off of Conte’s hands in the next week.
