Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing what Mikel Arteta said about Amazon’s All or Nothing documentary on the club.

What’s the story?

Well, the Spaniard has admitted that he had no say in the decision to let Amazon go behind-the-scenes at the Emirates Stadium.

As quoted by the Independent, Arteta said: “No (I was not consulted). It’s a decision made by the club, in the best possible interests of the football club. We need to help as much as possible.”

After producing documentaries on Leeds and Manchester City, Amazon will be providing fly-on-the-wall coverage of Arsenal’s 2021/22 season.

For neutrals, it has already got off to an entertaining start after Arsenal suffered a 2-0 defeat to Brentford on Friday night.

It will be interesting to hear what was said in the dressing room following defeat to Thomas Frank’s Bees.

Something about this just feels wrong to us.

Arsenal are allowing Amazon to waltz in with their cameras, ready to document Arteta’s team talks, training sessions and individual meetings.

That’s quite a significant peek into the Spaniard’s job, so it seems very strange that he wasn’t given a say in the matter.

After all, it’s possible that Arteta will act differently knowing cameras are watching him, or it could impact his work in some capacity.

It’s a poor decision from the club to go ahead with it without the manager’s permission.

Nevertheless, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying after the club went behind Arteta’s back…
