A number of Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on the report claiming the Gunners are eyeing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, a player heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Southampton midfielder and former captain previously played at Bayern Munich, winning four Bundesliga titles, three German Cups and a Club World Cup.
Hojbjerg then joined the Saints in the summer of 2016 for a reported £12.8million (BBC Sport), where he has made 134 appearances in all competitions.

With Hojbjerg’s £50,000-a-week contract expiring in 2021, speculation over the former Saints captain has increased massively in recent months.
On Monday evening, a report in The Telegraph claimed that Arsenal have been eyeing the 24-year-old and considered swooping in for him.
However, the outlet also understands that Spurs are in pole position for Hojbjerg’s signature, though the Daily Echo then reported that Everton have come back with a £20million bid.
Reaction from Arsenal fans towards the prospect of bringing the Denmark international was largely negative, though there were a couple who thought he’d be an alright acquisition:
