Michail Antonio has named Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne as his dream signing for West Ham United on the Footballer’s Football Podcast.
De Bruyne has been sensational for City over the past seven years after making the switch from Wolfsburg.
The 31-year-old had failed to break into Chelsea’s side before enjoying a breakthrough season in the Bundesliga during the 2014-15 campaign.
The Belgian has gone on to lift four Premier League titles under Pep Guardiola and is arguably recognised as one the best players in the league’s history.
And while it’s obviously very unlikely to ever become a reality, Antonio has named De Bruyne as his dream signing for West Ham.

Antonio names De Bruyne as dream signing
Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Antonio named Allan Saint-Maximin as the one Newcastle United player he’d love to join the Hammers.
But he added that he would pick De Bruyne over any other Premier League player due to his creativity.
“Person from Newcastle, I’m going to pick Saint-Maximin, everyone knows his ability, it’s ridiculous,” he said.
“The guy is a joke, you have to double up on him, maybe even treble.
“And then anyone in the Premier League… I’d go with De Bruyne as well because being a striker you want the man to assist and he’s the assist man!”
Antonio was accompanied by Callum Wilson on the podcast and the Magpies striker made a joke about Gianluca Scamacca in response.
“Cor, you bring him to West Ham and imagine the balls he’d be putting in for Scamacca!” he said.

It’s probably the majority of strikers’ dream to play alongside De Bruyne, given the amount of goals he creates for City.
The Belgian has registered 132 assists in 322 games for Guardiola’s men and he’s already provided nine this season.
Erling Haaland is certainly benefitting massively from his service as he’s already scored 17 Premier League goals this season.
Antonio currently faces a battle for his place in David Moyes’ side after the arrival of Scamacca over the summer.
The Jamaican striker has found himself on the bench in each of West Ham’s last five Premier League games. Antonio will be hoping to force his way back into the side over the coming weeks.
