Ian Wright has told his Wrighty’s House podcast that Arsenal star Nuno Tavares “causes so many problems”, and is excited to see him on Thursday.
Tavares, 21, has overtaken Kieran Tierney and despite his horrendous mistake in the 4-0 loss to Liverpool – he has retained his place on the left.
The summer signing has been excellent in his five consecutive Premier League starts, apart from the mistake, and will start against Man United.
The £27k-a-week (Spotrac) star is already proving that is his £8million fee is a bargain at The Emirates withhis enigmatic displays from left-back.
Arsenal legend Wright commented on the Portuguese ace – heaping praise on the talented defender. He is looking forward to his Thursday outing.

“Tavares can do anything because he is chaos. He can go left, he can go right and I’m looking forward to seeing him against Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
“He causes so many problems. There is so much to be excited about Tavares at the moment,” Wright told his own podcast on Wednesday.
Wright on Tavares: Arsenal fans will love Gunners icon’s verdict
The defender is a bargain for Arsenal – and it is a real plus point to what was an under-pressure transfer strategy in the summer window.
Edu and Mikel Arteta had been criticised in the summer for bringing in players for big money, and perhaps, a lack of quality.
Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Martin Odegaard and now, Tavares are proving people wrong. The difference, Tavares was cheap.
At just £8million, he is performing well above the standard that many expected. Wright’s comments are correct and will delight Gunners fans.
