Arsenal take on Slavia Prague away from home on Thursday night with a place in the semi-finals of the Europa League up for grabs – and Ian Wright has sent a rallying call on Instagram to Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners were easily the dominant side at The Emirates during the first leg but Mikel Arteta’s side were wasteful in the final third and missed a number of glorious chances. The match ended 1-1, with Nicolas Pepe scoring.

But Slavia – who knocked out Leicester City and Steven Gerrard’s Rangers before reaching the quarter-final tie with Arsenal – scored in injury time from a corner. The goal gives Slavia the edge, given it is an away goal.

Lacazette posted on Instagram ahead of the match, with the Frenchman in stunning form of late – scoring four goals in his last four Premier League matches, including a brace on Sunday against Sheffield United.

The Telegraph reported in the week that Lacazette might not be an Arsenal player for much longer as the Gunners look to bring in Odsonne Edouard from Celtic. A fee of £15million-£20million is said to be enough to get Lacazette.

Nevertheless, Wright responded to Lacazette’s Instagram post – telling him he knows what he needs to do in order to push the Gunners into the semi-final of the competition, as Arteta goes in search of his third trophy as manager.
