Arsenal are in terrible form right now.
The Gunners have lost three of their last five league games, and any semblance of fluidity in this Arsenal side has seemingly vanished overnight.
Arsenal are still very much in the title race, but they will need to improve if they are to beat the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City to the title.
Speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Ian Wright has been discussing some of Arsenal’s recent problems, and he’s earmarked Declan Rice as a player whose form has dipped as of late, claiming that he’s starting to look tired on the pitch.

Rice starting to look tired
Wright shared his verdict on the 24-year-old’s form.
“That’s exactly what they need now, a nice break, because there are a lot of things that need to be done. The last couple of games if you look at Declan I think you’re starting to see a bit of weariness, it’s not just giving the ball away, it’s that he’s doing so much and I think this break is perfect for him as well,” Wright said.
Chance to recharge
Wright is spot on, Rice is starting to look tired, but can you really blame him?
Rice had a long season last term after a massive European run with West Ham, and he barely got a break over the summer.
Luckily, Arsenal do have the chance to give Rice a bit of a break now, the FA Cup is a chance to rotate the team and then after that there is a one week break.
Rice and the rest of the Arsenal team could come back later in January refreshed, recharged and ready to go heading into the business end of the season.
Fatigue is clearly affecting Arsenal now, but that issue could be solved by this mini-break now.
