Arsenal and Liverpool both lost today to change the Premier League title picture and Ian Wright has now had his say on who will get over the line.

Arsenal managed to lose to Aston Villa at home while Liverpool suffered a similar fate against Crystal Palace.

Overall, it has just put the position of power now firmly back with Pep Guardiola and Manchester City and should they now win every game, it’s game over.

For Liverpool and Arsenal, it will simply be a case of having to keep going.

Both Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta won’t be letting their players throw the towel in and as we’ve seen this weekend, anything can happen in football.

And speaking for Premier League Productions, Ian Wright has now offered up his latest Premier League title prediction.

Ian Wright makes new Premier League title prediction after watching Arsenal and Liverpool

Not so long ago, Ian Wright had big confidence in his beloved Arsenal to get the job done.

But after seeing the events of this weekend unfold, Wright now believes that the title is there for City to lose now.

“Man City wouldn’t have thought Liverpool and Arsenal would have lost today. City know how to navigate this. They can afford to lose a game now, but I can’t see them losing one.

“They have breathing space. All Arsenal can do now is win every game, but we had to do that before today, because we know City can win every one of theirs,” Wright said.

Manchester City will win the Premier League

While Arsenal and Liverpool will keep going, this feels like a massive, massive turning point in the season.

Man City have been here and done it before on more than one occasion and mentally, it will be a crushing blow for both the chasing pack today.

Pep Guardiola just knows how to get over the line. They smashed Luton this weekend with ease and looking at their run-in, it’s hard to see where they lose a game.

Arsenal and Liverpool have huffed and puffed all season long but as it stands, it looks like they’re going to come up short again.

As Ian Wright says here, it’s now Man City’s to lose and as it looks, it’s hard to see them dipping.
