Ian Wright has told Match of the Day 2 that Patrick Bamford returning for Leeds United was a huge boost, while he went on to criticise Adam Forshaw for not playing him in at one stage during the first-half.
The Whites picked up a huge victory in their battle to stay in the Premier League. Joe Gelhardt scored in stoppage-time – after Leeds had already conceded after the board had gone up – to secure the three points.

Obviously, Gelhardt was the striker Leeds fans were raving about after the full-time whistle. But there was another forward who really shone at Elland Road.
Bamford made his first start since September following his return in midweek. He lasted 45 minutes as he continues to edge closer to full fitness. And Leeds certainly appear to benefit from having Bamford back in the fold.

Some of his hold-up play was outstanding. He did brilliantly to bring runners into play. And it was a long ball towards him that led to the opening goal of the game in the first-half.
‘Sorry isn’t going to help’
It certainly appeared that Leeds lost a lot when Bamford came off at the break. Wright was full of praise for the striker. But he did pick out one incident when Forshaw had to do a lot better and play a ball over the top for the Leeds forward.
“He done so well in this instance. When you’re playing like that, and you get this opportunity – look at the amount of space and time that Forshaw has got – put it in there,” he told Match of the Day 2.
“He makes a great run, and he doesn’t do it. He makes another chance, put it in there.
“He sees him, put it in there because he’s doing a lot of work for the team, so he can have a run at it. This is the annoying bit, he says sorry to him. Sorry isn’t going to help him!”
Forshaw performance another big plus for Leeds despite Wright criticism
Forshaw has been a shining light for Leeds this season. It is now much easier to forget that he went into this campaign with many doubting whether he would stand any chance of contributing in this campaign.
He spent around two years on the sidelines due to injury. And yet, he has looked like a class act in the Leeds midfield throughout the year.
It has been a tough season for Leeds, but Forshaw has largely done superbly. And he did some good stuff on Sunday against Norwich.
Certainly, the partnership with Mateusz Klich looks set to have plenty of potential while Leeds wait for Kalvin Phillips to return.
