Ian Baraclough has admitted that he hopes to see Jordan Jones secure a move away from Ibrox in the near future, and hinted that he would be willing to try and help the Rangers winger find a new club, in comments reported by the Daily Record.
Jones has endured a torrid time since joining the Gers. He has only made two starts in the Scottish Premiership and spent much of his first season with the club sidelined after sustaining an injury in the challenge that saw him sent off in last September’s Old Firm clash.

The Daily Record notes that Steven Gerrard has told Jones that he can find a new club. He is yet to feature in a league game this season.
And while Northern Ireland boss Baraclough named Jones in his squad for the coming international break, he suggested that the 25-year-old needs to get his future resolved as soon as possible.

“Jordan is someone I have spoken to several times. I want to help players be settled at their clubs or find new clubs and be there for them to pick up a phone and speak to and if we can help them in any shape or form it is our job to do that,” he said, as reported by the Record.
“He is talented but at this moment in time Rangers is a competitive squad and Steven Gerrard has spoken to him and said he can find a new club if that comes up.
“Hopefully that can be sorted pretty soon and hopefully he can get settled into a new club, new surroundings and then he can go and perform for us like we think he can.”
TBR View: Jones turnaround looks incredibly unlikely, but surely not impossible
It does appear that Jones has potentially made his final appearance for Rangers. He has not even been named on the bench in any of the club’s last three games.
There is plenty of time left in the transfer window. So it seems more than likely that he will be able to secure a move before the deadline passes.
But while he remains at Rangers, perhaps it would be wrong to write off his chances of forcing his way back into the fold altogether.
It was a year ago today that Borna Barisic scored the goal that arguably sparked his Ibrox turnaround. And there are arguably now only a couple of players whose names are put on the team sheet before the Croatian.
Of course, Barisic was handed the opportunity, while Jones is currently out of the fold. But he is a player with talent and an ability to change a game.
So perhaps if he does get a chance, all the pieces could fall into place for the wide-man.
