‘I won’t lie’… Aaron Lennon admits there’s one Arsenal player he absolutely loves

Aaron Lennon isn’t the biggest of Arsenal fans.

The winger was a fan favourite at Tottenham for many years before eventually leaving north London, and it’s fair to say that during that time he had a few run-ins with the Gunners.

Lennon famously scored in the 4-4 draw between the two London rivals back in 2008, and as a Spurs player, he grew to strongly dislike the Gunners.

However, despite not having much love for Arsenal, even he has had to admit that there’s one player at the Emirates right now he just can’t get enough of.

Indeed, Lennon says that while there isn’t much he likes about Arsenal, he is indeed a huge fan of Bukayo Saka.

Lennon a big fan of Saka

The pundit spoke about Arsenal’s star man.

“I think Saka is another one, those two are the first two on my teamsheet, and Harry Kane also, he has to play. I love Saka. I don’t love a lot about Arsenal, I won’t lie to you, but Saka, I love watching him, he’s so consistent. I love the way he mixes his game up, he can do everything, I’d love him to beat his man without the ball as well, but he’s so consistent,” Lennon said.

Impossible not to love Saka

Lennon may be reluctant to praise any Arsenal player, but it’s impossible not to love Saka.

For a player to play like this at that age is almost unheard of, and even the biggest of Tottenham supporters would have to admit they’ve been incredibly impressed by Saka.

On top of his incredible ability, Saka is also a really likeable character as well, and as hard as Spurs fans and former players may try, it’s just impossible to not have a bit of a soft spot for this young man.
