Chris Sutton has backed West Ham United to pick up a surprise win over Manchester United this weekend.
David Moyes will be bidding to get his side back on track at the London Stadium on Saturday after a League Cup exit at Anfield last night.
West Ham sit just a point behind Erik ten Hag’s side in the table at the moment and will leapfrog them with a win.
While Manchester United have endured a rocky start to the campaign, they did pick up a decent point at Anfield last time out. The Red Devils frustrated Liverpool with a resilient defensive performance.
But Chris Sutton wasn’t impressed with their showing last Sunday and feels the Hammers will pick up a surprise win this weekend.

Sutton thinks West Ham will beat Man United
Writing in his latest column for BBC Sport, Sutton backed West Ham to beat United 2-1 on Saturday.
“Manchester United parked the bus at Anfield, so will they do that here too? I don’t think so,” Sutton said.
“I actually think West Ham will beat them, though. I often go for them to draw games, but I liked the way they went at Wolves.
“In contrast, I wasn’t impressed by Erik ten Hag’s side at all. They may celebrate their draw with Liverpool but United fans should not be carried away with the way they got it – that just sums up how far they have fallen.”

West Ham is certainly a difficult place to pick up three points and Moyes will be well up for it as he faces his old side.
The Hammers did suffer a heavy defeat at Anfield on Wednesday though and United will be boosted by their recent result in Merseyside.
Ten Hag’s struggles this term have largely come at home and we can see them picking up a point on Saturday, with the game ending all square at 1-1.
