A number of Aston Villa fans believe Jacob Ramsey should have come on in last night’s Premier League defeat.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the brightest talents to come through the Villa academy in recent years.
To date, Ramsey has made seven competitive senior appearances for the Villans, but has only played once in the top flight, a 13-minute cameo in the 3-0 win over Fulham.

Last night, Villa fell to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at West Ham, with few of the visiting players emerging with any considerable credit.
Douglas Luiz was one such player as he shone in the middle of the park, but John McGinn and Conor Hourihane weren’t overly impressive.
And some Villa fans thought Ramsey, who was named on the bench, should’ve come on for either the Scot or the Irishman at some point in the game.
With Dean Smith’s charges facing a quick turnaround with a Friday night home game against Newcastle, there have been calls for the teenage ace to feature in that encounter.
