Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been praised by BBC Sport pundit Glenn Murray for his goal against Fulham today.

Spurs welcomed the west Londoners to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a 3pm Premier League kickoff.

Tottenham dominated proceedings in the first half and took the lead in the 40th minute through Hojbjerg.

The Denmark international started the move outside the box and picked out Richarlison.

Hojbjerg then continued his run as Richarlison picked him out.

The 27-year-old then took a touch and planted the ball into the bottom corner.

Murray, speaking on Final Score, loved what he had seen from Hojbjerg.

“Spurs can smell blood,” he said (15:44).

“And the way Hojbjerg finished it I thought he was Kane, it was a striker-esque goal.”

In the 75th minute, Kane then did get on the scoresheet.

Ryan Sessegnon had a shot blocked before crossing in for the England captain to fire into an empty net.

It was a landmark goal for Kane, moving to third on the list of all-time Premier League goalscorers.

However, Fulham pulled one back seven minutes from time.

Aleksandar Mitrovic cut inside Cristian Romero and curled his effort past Hugo Lloris into the top corner.

Tottenham thought they’d made it three late on, but VAR ruled Richarlison’s goal out for offside.

Nonetheless, Antonio Conte’s charges held on for the win, and remain unbeaten this season.
