BBC Radio 5 Live pundit, Robbie Savage, has backed Tottenham to become Premier League champions following their win over Man City.
Spurs put in a fine performance to put Pep Guardiola’s men to bed in north London. An early goal from Heung-Min Son was followed up by an excellent second by Gio Lo Celso in the second 45.

Harry Kane was once again in imperious form, while at the back, the likes of Eric Dier and Sergio Reguilon were excellent in their work.
And Savage, who was speaking alongside Chris Sutton following the game, believes Spurs might just win it now under Mourinho.
“I’m going to say it. I’m going to say Spurs will win the league”, Savage said.
“The reason I say it, is Jose finished with 81 points with Man United and he said it was one of his finest moments. This Spurs squad is better. Tottenham and Jose are going to win the league”.
It was Tottenham’s biggest test of the campaign against City and one they passed with flying colours. Indeed, keeping a team like City at bay is no mean feat and gives them a big confidence boost going forward towards Christmas.

A fair comment, but a long way to go – TBR View
It’s easy to jump on a bandwagon and Savage obviously has to say things to attract attention to the show. But it’s hard to disagree with him after watching that last night.
Attacking prowess, solid at the back, and with options off the bench, Spurs look like they have everything in the bank to be contenders.
The loss of Alderweireld will be a big difference maker but if they can ride that out and still be up there, the title could well be within their grasp come May.
