‘I think’: Gary Neville now predicts where he thinks Tottenham will finish in the PL this season

Gary Neville has been speaking on the latest Overlap Fan Debate and has predicted where he thinks Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the Premier League this season.

Spurs have got off to a brilliant start to the new season and remain unbeaten under Antonio Conte.

The Italian’s side have not put in the most dazzling performances but have found a way to grind out results.

Tottenham are looking to build on a brilliant end to the last campaign after getting back into the Champions League.

And Neville feels that Spurs will go one better than their fourth place finish last season.

Neville predicts where Tottenham will finish

On the latest Overlap Fan Debate, Neville was joined by Jamie Carragher, as well as Arsenal and Manchester United fans.

The former Manchester United man thinks Spurs will finish in the top three, leaving Chelsea, United and Arsenal to battle it out for fourth place.

“For United or Arsenal to get the Champions League – and look they could get Champions League – but I think it’s between Chelsea, Arsenal and United,” he said.

“I think Tottenham will finish in the top three still. I know you [Arsenal fans] don’t like that!”

Spurs certainly look solid so far and arguably put in their best display of the season against Fulham on Saturday.

Conte’s men are yet to lose and have picked up improved results against Southampton, Wolves, West Ham United and Chelsea in their opening fixtures.

Tottenham lost all of these same fixtures in the season before. So it seems that they are already improving on the last campaign.

The next few weeks will be huge for Spurs as they kick-off their Champions League campaign tomorrow night.

Conte will now be facing a packed fixture schedule and will have to rotate his squad.

But after a successful summer window, Conte now has a much improved squad capable of competing in all competitions.
