'I think everybody': David Moyes makes claim about Leeds ahead of West Ham trip to Elland Road

Leeds United are a team that “everybody enjoys watching”, according to West Ham boss David Moyes.

The Hammers boss also says he’s a “big admirer” of Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa.

The Irons will prove stern opposition though, having picked up eight points from their first five league games to go eighth.

Leeds are currently 17th in the standings after three draws and two defeats from five games played.

Bielsa has done incredibly well for most of his tenure at Elland Road, and this is arguably the first time that things are looking a little tense.

Football.london asked Moyes what he made of Leeds, the outlet also saying West Ham will be favourites to win.

“Well, I think that would only be because of results and because of the way Leeds have started,” replied the Hammers boss.

“But I think if you’ve watched games I think everybody will see that they have had quite a difficult start to the season with some of the games.

“I’m a big admirer of the manager Bielsa because of his record and the way his teams play. I think everybody enjoys watching Leeds United.

“I think they are a great football club Leeds, fantastically supported and so it’s a really tough game, it really is.

“The energy of Leeds put into their game and go about it is going to be a test for any team who plays them and it will certainly be a test for us.”

West Ham won both league meetings against Leeds last season, as many victories as they’d managed in their previous 28 against the Whites.

The last time they won three in a row against the Yorkshire side was all the way back in 1949.
