Peter Crouch has been speaking about the Premier League title race and given his verdict on Arsenal’s chances of taking the prize.
The Gunners are in the mix to win the title after beating Liverpool then dismantling west Ham last weekend.
Mikel Arteta has been backed to the hilt by the Arsenal owners and board and summer signings like Declan Rice really seem to be making their mark at the moment.
However, while Rice is driving Arsenal forward and players like Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli continue to shine, former England striker Peter Crouch has suggested that as of now, Liverpool and Manchester City are still in a league above the Gunners.

Peter Crouch shares verdict on Arsenal’s title chances
Speaking on the latest episode of That Peter Crouch podcast, the former Liverpool and Tottenham man insisted that as of now, Arsenal are still behind City and Liverpool in terms of quality and title credentials.
“I think they are a very good side but I don’t see them in the same bracket as Liverpool or Man City personally and I still stick by that,” Crouch said.
As it stands, Arsenal are two points of Liverpool in top spot and level with City on 52 points. However, Pep Guardiola’s side have a crucial game in hand that in the end, could make all the difference.
Arsenal are in the mix
While Crouch is entitled to his opinion on Liverpool and City being in a bracket above Arsenal, there is no doubt the Gunners are right in the title race.
The two results over Liverpool and then West Ham felt like statements of intent from Mikel Arteta’s side.
The likes of Rice and Odegaard in midfield are really stepping up to the game, while in attack, players such as Saka, Martinelli, and even the likes of Leandro Trossard off the bench are making a huge impact.
As it stands, the title race is shaping up to be one of the tightest in years. But Arsenal are right in there and with a few results going their way, they could eventually come out on top.
